Brake cooling inlet suitable for BMW F80/82

In order to transport the air to the outlet of the brake ventilation system, a suitable inlet is essential. The M3/M4 does not have factory inlet ducts in the front bumper like the M2 Competition, for example. What your car does have, however, are 2 radiators on the sides behind the bumper! So why not use the existing airflow efficiently?

To prevent the air after the radiators from swirling randomly in the wheel arch, we have developed a guide channel that can be fitted with minimal effort and guides the air around the wheel and connects a connection to the outlet via a 40 cm long hose (per side). Our tests have shown that no significant back pressure builds up behind the radiator and in the event of extreme speeds and increasing pressure, the channels do not present any obstacles to the escaping air behind the radiator.

IMPORTANT: The different models vary slightly in wheel position, coupled with different chassis geometries and wheel and tire combinations, it is impossible for us to cover all variants. In the worst case scenario, the wheel could come to rest slightly on the ground at full steering lock (which should only be the case when parking), which cannot lead to any damage to the tire. In this case, we would ask you to dispense with the last ¼ of the steering turns.
