Admission:

The Clubsport version for the Mustang features optimized deflector vanes for channelling the air into the center of the wheel. The OEM air vanes are replaced by the Speed Engineering vanes. We strongly recommend replacing the anchor plate with the one from Speed Engineering at the same time, as this contains an opening at the point where the air hits it. This opening allows air to be drawn in via the brake disk and thus cooled more efficiently.

In this case, it is necessary to modify the existing bumper. The supplied counter plate, which is used to screw on the ventilation duct, also serves as a cutting template to create an opening in the plastic.

Outlet:

We use the channeling of the air flow to the center of the brake disc to use the turbine effect to cool the disc from the inside. In doing so, we direct the air at the pane at a specific angle in order to avoid scattering losses and use the available air volume as efficiently as possible.

The lightweight construction in combination with powder-coated aluminum makes the component sufficiently strong and at the same time light and robust.

Your vehicle is not slow, that’s a fact. However, this speed must be reduced as quickly as possible before the bend and this generates enormous heat. The ball joint of your control arm is extremely close to the hot brake disk and will be affected in the long term. This anchor plate therefore provides additional shielding for the bearing, thereby increasing its durability.
