Sparco racing seat Grid-Q

The Sparco Grid-Q motorsport seat has been consistently designed to meet the special requirements of drift racing. The high lateral thigh support guarantees the rider a firm seat, even during strong lateral acceleration. Thanks to the open shape of the seat shell in the shoulder area, the seat offers a high degree of freedom of movement for extreme steering movements.

The individual cushions are removable and can therefore be put together individually – either completely or only in certain areas of the seat. The cushions are simply attached to the seat cover using the Velcro fastener on the back.

QRT (Quick Resin Technology) – Thanks to a new “quick resin process” developed and patented by Sparco, it has been possible to reduce the weight of the seat shell to an absolute minimum during the production process, while maintaining a high degree of strength and stability.

FIA homologated

In principle, every FIA-homologated seat is also approved for use with a HANS® system. The only important thing is that the seat allows the straps holding the HANS® system to be attached correctly. The large belt bushings allow optimum positioning even for drivers of different sizes. Newer seat models also have slight recesses, usually only visible from the rear. These primarily serve to increase comfort and ensure that the HANS® system does not pinch even in a very upright sitting position.
