Air duct inlet:

In order to transport the air to the outlet of the brake ventilation system, a suitable inlet is essential. The E46 M3 already has factory inlet ducts in the front bumper, but these end in the middle of the wheel arch. To prevent the air from swirling randomly in the wheel arch, we have developed an extension to the air duct which can be fitted with minimal effort, guides the air around the wheel and connects the air duct to our anchor plate via a 40 cm long hose (per side).

Air duct outlet (anchor plate):

The right anchor plates for the E46 M3! We use the channeling of the air flow to the center of the brake disc to use the turbine effect to cool the disc from the inside. In doing so, we direct the air at the pane at an angle that reduces scattering losses and makes maximum efficient use of the available air volume. In addition, the bearings closest to the brake disk are shielded from the heat to increase their service life (only if necessary). Thanks to the choice of powder-coated aluminum as a material, the component is sufficiently strong and at the same time light and robust.

IMPORTANT: The different models vary slightly in wheel position. Coupled with different chassis geometries and wheel and tire combinations, it is impossible for us to cover all variants. In the worst case scenario, the wheel could come to rest slightly on the ground at full steering lock (which should only be the case when parking), which cannot lead to any damage to the tire. In this case, we would ask you to dispense with the last ¼ of the steering turns.
