In many vehicles, including the “endurance runner” E36, brake cooling is already recommended for medium loads, even off the racetrack. This not only improves braking performance, but also drastically reduces wear on the friction partners. Our armature plate uses the channeling of the air flow to the center of the brake disc to utilize the turbine effect to cool the disc from the inside. In doing so, we direct the air at the pane at a defined angle in order to avoid scattering losses and make maximum efficient use of the available air volume. Thanks to the lightweight construction in combination with powder-coated aluminum, the anchor plate is sufficiently strong and at the same time light and robust. During and after the braking process, the suspension joint is under enormous heat stress as it is extremely close to the hot brake disk. Wear and tear increases disproportionately. This anchor plate therefore has additional shielding for the bearing, which increases its durability.

Included in the scope of delivery:

• 1x anchor plate for the left front axle
• 1x anchor plate for the right front axle

(Air hose and hose clamps are not included in the scope of delivery – can be purchased as an option)

The anchor plate fits plug & play and no additional fastening material is required. The original fixing points and screws can be reused.
