Typically, when the car is lowered, the angle of the driveshafts also changes. This bracket set raises the differential by 10 mm (towards the subframe). By adjusting this height, the drive shafts/axles are aligned more horizontally again, which improves the lifespan of these shafts, which saves enormous costs.

Notes:

• Improve your differential mounting by creating 2 mounting points, combined with replacing the OEM rubber mounts. The OEM differential mount only has a rear mounting point. If greater strength is required, particularly for motorsport use, a second mounting point can be used with our Differential Offset Mount Kit for BMW F-Series (M2/M3/M4). This offset kit raises the differential, resulting in a reduction in the tilt of the driveshafts, resulting in less friction, wear and heat. Our BMW differential mounting kits are designed to maintain one degree of freedom with sliding bushings. You get all the benefits of a rigid mount, but avoid the high forces that typically occur with a 100% rigid mount. The POM bushings reduce peak forces, but the steel inserts allow the differential to be mounted with appropriate screw torques (no deformation of the material). This type of bushing can absorb slight chassis deformations (e.g. when hitting curbs).
