Air duct inlet

In order to transport the air to the outlet of the brake ventilation system, a suitable inlet is essential. The pre-facelift I30N already has factory-installed intake ducts in the front bumper, but these end in the middle of the wheel arch. Previously, we used these ducts to prevent the air from swirling randomly in the wheel arch. We have now developed an extension to the air duct which can be fitted with minimal effort and connects to the outlet.

Generation 2: New design and carbon reinforced!

The second generation, which is now available, allows the OEM channels to be retained, as we have developed intake funnels for the control arm. These are simply screwed under the wishbone and have an opening through the wishbone with a hose connection to connect the air inlet surface to the anchor plate using a short air hose.

The advantages are obvious: a shorter hose can be used to generate fewer flow losses. This also makes the system more wear-resistant and full steering wheel impacts no longer cause damage to the hose. The final advantage is the ease of installation.
