Air duct inlet:

In order to transport the air to the outlet of the brake ventilation system, a suitable inlet is essential. Some BMW E46 AG models already have factory-fitted inlet ducts in the front bumper, but these end in the middle of the wheel arch. To prevent the air from swirling randomly in the wheel arch, we have developed an extension to the air duct which can be fitted with minimal effort, guides the air around the wheel and connects the air duct to our outlet via a 40 cm long hose (per side).

Air duct outlet:

Here too, the brake disk must be supplied with air as centrally as possible. The brake disk of the E46 does not have a very large pot. A classic solution using an armature plate would therefore result in the inner surface of the friction disk being cooled on one side. However, in order to utilize the turbine effect of the brake disc, we have developed a brake cooling system that is mounted on the wishbone and flows to the center of the disc regardless of the wheel position. They are simply attached using existing locking pins and without any permanent changes to the vehicle.

• 1x air duct inlet for the left front axle
• 1x air duct inlet for the right front axle
• 6x fixing screw with washer
• 1x air duct outlet for the left front axle
• 1x air duct outlet for the right front axle
• 1x air hose (1 meter)
• 4x hose clamps

In the worst case scenario, the wheel could come to rest slightly on the ground at full steering lock (which should only be the case when parking), which cannot lead to any damage to the tire. In this case, we would ask you to dispense with the last ¼ of the steering turns.
