The Clubsport version for the Mustang features optimized deflector vanes for channelling the air into the center of the wheel. The OEM air vanes are replaced by the Speed Engineering vanes. We strongly recommend replacing the anchor plate with the one from Speed Engineering at the same time, as this contains an opening at the point where the air hits it. This opening allows air to be drawn in via the brake disk and thus cooled more efficiently.

This variant can be upgraded to the Track variant at a later date.

The track version of this cooling system takes cool air from the bumper and guides it to the corresponding anchor plate by means of an air hose. The air hose and the anchor plate are also available from us. This variant is clearly recommended, as the Mustang GT, with its high rated power, has to decelerate as quickly as possible at enormous speeds and the heat development is therefore relatively high.

In this case, it is necessary to modify the existing bumper. The supplied counter plate, which is used to screw on the ventilation duct, also serves as a cutting template to create an opening in the plastic.

In the worst case scenario, the wheel could come to rest slightly on the ground at full steering lock (which should only be the case when parking), which cannot lead to any damage to the tire. In this case, we would ask you to dispense with the last ¼ of the steering turns.
